The mystery of the missing cards

 

Belief has it, that when you are not listening to your oracle of choice, nor paying an appropriate amount of respect to it (taking the advice/contemplating on it), it stops communicating with you. If the oracle is really fed up with you, it might very well just disappear! I must shamefully admit I once was the owner of a set of rune stones, which, in all honestly completely vanished. It suspect it has happened while I was moving, but still... Never found it again and all boxes are long unpacked.

Now, when cards go missing from your deck, what is the message behind it? What I found to be true, is that the energy this card represents, is blocked in your own life. The meaning of the card is something which is impossible to manifest, because the owner of the deck is unable to apply these qualities. After all, he or she doesn't own them! So if you do own decks with missing cards, look up the meaning of those cards. Especially read into the reversed meaning. It will give you clarity of your own life lessons.
For example if Death is missing from your deck, do you have an inability to let go of the past? Are you stuck and hanging on to something that is long gone?

Now if you are doing a reading and you notice cards just gone missing or are temporary misplaced (still in the box for example), also have a close look. Which card is it? Could that be the ‘missing link’ the querent needs to get things going in his or her life?
When I notice it in time, I take it in as one of the most important cards or messages that have to be put across to the querent.
