Six tips to live authentically
Now there's nothing wrong with exploring the fields, the sites, all opposite directions and whatever you feel like examining. However if there's something you truly desire, something that feels so right for you, but you just keep tucking it away deeply, because of many reasons, like what others may think or that's not how it is supposed to go, chances are you are d-touring.
You may very well end up moving around what you love most or what resonates so well with you. Don't go in roundabout directions, since it's taking up precious time and on a certain level it's denying who you are.
How can you be more true to yourself?
1. Be very clear to yourself about what you feel is right for you (even if you are still exploring. It's normal & ongoing).
2. This is why Oprah states to surround yourself with supporting people. Share with the ones who support you, are open to your ideas and let you be who you are. Especially if you are exploring a new area for yourself it's essential.
3. Remember that the only approval you need is from yourself. You will not be able to shift everyone's perspective or make them understand yours.
4. There's ALWAYS information on what you think/feel/experience. Which means there are communities, mentors, etc. to help you along. Find them. Often you just don't know these ideas, lifestyles, etc. exist.
5. Recognize and honor your own fears & insecurities and work with them kindly.
6. Try to create or be in an environment where your beliefs and values can expand and not where they are suppressed. So you can for example create a personal space for your work or join a group exploring similar talents you want to use, etc.
